Teresa Cole - Vocal
Teresa Lynn Cole was born into a musical family and raised in Austin, the music capitol of the world.
She started singing at an early age, modeling herself after singers like Patsy Cline, Etta James, and Aretha Franklin.
She began her singing career in the band, Magnetic M-Pac, opening for performers such as Bob Schneider and The Scabs.
Teresa soon discovered her talent for writing music and teamed up with producers Brandon Bishop and Philip Rackley to make her first album "Just a Matter of Time."
Soon after, she was approached by Sauce to become their only female vocalist. Teresa continues to promote her album and gain fans everywhere she sings.
Adrian Washington - Vocal
Adrian Martell Washington has been performing since the age of 5 years old. His grandmother realized his potential, helping him with stage presence, and choreographing his early elementary talent shows.
All of his hard work seemed to have paid off when he was chosen as a finalist for the second season of 'American Idol'. That year he was selected to go to Hollywood, and made it as far as the top 100.
After 'American Idol,' he returned to Austin, and was featured in several prominent talent contest in search of his big break. In the summer of 2005, he make top 2 in the weekly televised talent contect, 'Gimme the Mike'.
For over twenty years, Adrian has worked diligently to achieve his life's ambition of being a premiere R&B entertainer, consistently giving great shows for his audience.
Nathan Hubble - Vocal
Singer and songwriter, Nathan Hubble, combines pop, blues, soul, and acoustica to make music that feels both classic and fresh. Based in Austin, Nathan frequently ventures out of state to take his music to fans nationwide.
Music should reflect life, be believes, so his songs capture the human condition in a personal way. Nathan also believes music is a record of life, so his songs are often biographical.
Currently, Nathan is in the studio right now, working on his sophomore release. An EP is scheduled to be released shortly. Nathan is working with A&R Select, the world's leading independent artist development firm, based in Los Angeles, CA.
Carlos Sosa - Saxophone
After founding Grooveline Horns, Carlos began playing with Austin's own, The Scabs.
Since then he has played with an ever expanding list of world renowned musicians suck as Blues Traveler, Willie Nelson, Luscious Jackson, Don Henley, Billy Bob Thornton, Pat Green, Ian Moore, Ozomatli, Raymond Webber, Mary Mary, and Trey Anastasio.
He is a regular performer with Jason Mraz, Bob Schneider, Boombox, The Scabs, Sauce, and Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk.
Kelly Clarkson also chose the Grooveline Horns for her 2007 summer tour.
Carlos has been a record producer for seven years, and has written and arranged music for MTV's "Pimp My Ride", and "Run's House."
He has earned a Latin Grammy, a Gospel Music Award, and is the Vice President of the Texas Chapter of The Recording Academy.
Fernando Castillo - Trumpet
Hailing from Austin, TX, Fernando Castillo is the trumpet player for Sauce and co-founder of the Grooveline Horns.
He has played and recorded with some of the biggest names in the industry including Jason Mraz, Rob Thomas, Trey Anastasio, Blues Traveler, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Willie Nelson, Ozomatli, Salvador, and Don Henley just to name a few.
As a group, The Grooveline Horns have won many prestigious awards, including a 2005 Latin Grammy with La Mafia for Best Group Album, a 2004 Dove Gospel Music Award with Salvador for Spanish Lanquage Album of the Year and were named "Best Horn Section" by the Austin Chronicle seven times.
Fernando has also written music for MTV's "Pimp My Ride," MSNBC's "American Made," and also Broadway's "A Prelude to a Kiss."
Raúl Vallejo - Trombone
Raúl Vallejo grew up in the South Texas city of Harlingen, a colorful community with a distinct Latin flavor, which he has incorporated into his playing style today.
At seven, he began learning the harmonica, but at twelve, he discovered his passion: the trombone. In 1988 Raúl left Harlingen to attend the Music School at the University of North Texas.
He moved to Austin in 1994 to join a popular local band, the Gingbreadmen. In 1995, Raúl joined Carlos Sosa and Fernando Castillo as a trombone player for the Grooveline Horns.
They have played with numerous acts including La Tribu, Blues Traveler, The Scabs, Bob Schneider, and Ian Moore. In 2002, Raúl joined the Maynard Ferguson's Big Bop Nouveau and completed 3 tours.
In 2004, he helped found the Monster Big Band, an Austin jazz group.
Stefano Intelisano - Keyboards
Born in Pavia, Italy, and raised in Milan, Stefano Intelisano studied classical piano and organ from the age of 8.
He soon developed an interest in American music, focusing on blues, jazz, funk, R&B, and gospel.
While attending the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Milan, he broadened his musical skills in jazz ensembles and performed across Italy and Europe with various blues and rock bands, including Chicken Mambo and singer/songwriter Sarah Pierce.
In 2001, Stefano moved to Austin to become a studio musician/arranger at Merel Bregante's recording studio, The Cribworks. Since then, he has collaborated with artist such as Terry Clarke, John Inmon, Boombox, The Gene Pool, Sauce, Seth Walker, Rachel Loy, and MC Overlord.
Kevin Scott - Drums
Kevin Scott began playing drums professionally at the age of twelve with local jazz bands in Birmingham, Al. It was there that Jimmy Chappell from Count Basie Orchestra heard Kevin play and decided to mentor him. In 1988, Kevin moved to Los Angeles where he began playing with MCA recording artist, Mike Howard.
Shortly thereafter, he started touring with such artists as Barry White, Cheryl Hunter, Willie Clayton, Dennis Edwards, David Sea, Stevie Wonder, Christopher Martin, Israel, and New Breed (Grammy Nominated Award Winner).
He also took on the role of Musical Director for Sister Sledge and toured extensively with the musical theater production "Stop the Noise Bring Back the Music."
Currently, Kevin is working with Pamela Hart and the Women in Jazz Series, The Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church Band, and he is writing and producing with Valarie Scott and the Dr. James Polk Trio. Kevin is a partner in Twink Records and Semaj Publishing.
Charles Rieser - Guitar
Charles "The Razor" Rieser was born in 1965 in New York City. He found himself drawn to music and by the age of sixteen he was performing live.
A full music scholarship lured him away from NYC to the University of Maine. Austin's diverse music scene has become a perfect home, allowing Charles to express the many styles he loves to play, from rock to jazz.
He has won several Austin Music Poll Awards and has played or recorded with many artist such as Slade Cleaves, The Ugly Americans, Grammy Award winners: Salvadore, local heros: The Scabs, Boombox, John Popper of Blues Traveler, The Panic Choir, Glue Boy, Stringbones, Hush, The Atlantics, Magnificent Bastard, Jean Synodinos, and Soul Hat.
He's also the founding member of Sauce.
Jai Dillon - Bass
Jai Dillon has been a musician for 30 years. His first instrument was the organ at the age of five, and by high school, Jai was playing guitar, keyboard, and drums.
Jai started playing professionally at age sixteen with veteran L.A. session man and songwriter, Pieter Holland. He then attended the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, graduated with honors, and decided to stay in L.A. to cut his teeth among the best musicians in the world.
By the time he was twenty, Jai was recording with heavy hitting producers like Marlon "the Magician McClain, Foster and McKilroy, and Stephan Brae,. Jai has toured with the platinum selling artists, the English Beat, General Public, and Christian Castro.
