Grammy award-winning Grooveline Horns is an internationally known three-man horn section comprised of founder, Carlos Sosa (sax), Fernando Castillo (trumpet) and Reggie Watkins (trombone). They have toured with Kelly Clarkson, Dave Matthews, Willie Nelson, Rob Thomas, Blues Traveler, Maynard Ferguson and Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, just to name a few, and are preparing for another tour with Jason Mraz in September.

Established in 1996, The Grooveline Horns was awarded a Latin Grammy for the work they did with Legendary Texas Latin Artist, La Mafia on the record “Para el Pueblo” and also a Dove Gospel Award with Christian band “Salvador”. A recent review of a Jason Mraz concert featuring Grooveline by the Kansas City Star noted that the “three-man horn section added invaluable heft and soulfulness” to Mraz’s performance and compared the difference in the songs Mraz played with and without Grooveline to “the difference between Tower of Power and John Denver.”

Next week, The Grooveline Horns is helping Momo’s celebrate their 10th Anniversary Week. Come see them perform with Tameca Jones and ZEALE at Momo’s on Thursday, August 26 at 9:15 p.m. You don’t want to miss it!
