Can I request songs or ask them not to play certain songs?
Yes. You can request songs and if it’s on their song list they will be sure to play it at your event. If it’s not on their list they charge a fee of $250 to learn a song. You can also request that they not play certain songs. Sauce does respectfully ask that you not try to arrange the order of their song list. They work very hard at keeping the dance floor packed by knowing which songs work well together and in what order.
What does it take to reserve Sauce?
You need to contact their booking agent and give them contact and event information. Once he has that he will email you a contract with all pertinent information on it along with information sheets and a hospitality rider. You will need to sign the contract and rider and fill out the information sheets and send them back with a 50% retainer. Click here to reserve now.
Can anyone in the band play in the classical or jazz genre?
Yes there are several players in Sauce that can play classical music for your ceremony or jazz for the cocktail hour.
What does Sauce typically wear?
The band has worked really hard on their stage show and has a professional costume designer custom fit each player in the band with stage appropriate clothes to fit their show.
How many breaks does the band typically take?
During a 4 hour time period Sauce typically does 3 x 1 hour sets with 2 half hour breaks.
Does the band play background music during their breaks?
Yes. the band has a large selection of songs that they play during their breaks. If you have something in particular you want played you can bring an mp3 player or cd and hand it to the sound engineer before the event.
What are the electrical requirements?
Sauce will need at least 4 to 6 separate and dedicated 20 amp circuits to be able to perform with full production.
What size stage does the band require?
Because Sauce is a 10pc band with a very active and lively show they require a stage 16’ deep by 24’ wide. Some accommodations can be made if necessary.
Does the band bring their own sound and lighting equipment?
Yes. Sauce owns their own state of the art sound and light equipment and is run by their professional production team.
