We’ve got some really exciting news to share! Sauce the Band would like to welcome Jennifer Fuentes as the newest addition to the group! Jennifer joins Sauce as a professional singer with over 10 years experience and boasts amazing, soulful vocals that bring every song to life. We are so thrilled to have her join the family, and we can’t wait for you to see her in action with Sauce the Band.

   ”Sauce the Band is awesome,” Jennifer says. “I am so honored to have the opportunity to work with such talented, seasoned musicians. No one can break it down like these guys can. I plan to get the crowds on their feet every time I get up on stage and sing my butt off to make sure everyone has an awesome time!”

     Jennifer is well versed in many genres of music, including Pop, Latin, Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock and Folk. Some of her experience includes being a Top 32 Finalist out of 60,000 contestants on Season 2 of American Idol. This started a whirlwind of media coverage and appearances for television, radio and printed media, such as USA Today, People Magazine, YM Magazine, Latina Magazine, and Entertainment Weekly. She has even performed a remarkable, acapella rendition of “The National Anthem” at The White House and also at NBA games!

     In 2004 Jennifer landed a job with “The Greatest Show on Earth,” the 134th and 136th Editions of Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus. She acted as part ringmaster, part dream weaver, and became the very first female Songstress for the show. Performing as many as 13 shows per week in addition to the duties as a spokesperson, Jennifer was an ambassador of the Circus in radio, TV, and national print promotional efforts to families and children across the entire nation.

     She later signed a management deal with Sound Management, Inc. in 2009 and quickly jumped into the studio to record her first country track, “Angel Give Me Wings,” produced by Brodie Stewart. Since then, Fuentes has also shot a music video for her song, “Ain’t Through Loving You Yet.” Check it out here!

    Jennifer is excited to bring all of this experience and more to help give Sauce the Band’s sound a new, refreshing twist.

    “I am very excited to be a part of the Sauce family,” said Jennifer. “I hope to keep bringing the fun, pipes, and soul that Sauce has been known for!” We look forward to seeing you at a show sometime soon to see Sauce the Band live, accompanied by its newest member!

Also in 2012, Sauce added a flavorful hip-hop set to our repertoire, with songs by Usher, Ciara, Outkast, The Black Eyed Peas, and more. In addition, Sauce added “The Wobble” to our list of songs, which was a smash hit that never failed to bring everyone to the dance floor.

With Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, and Rascal Flatts tunes also added to the mix, Sauce the Band was hard at work this year making our show and your event the best it can be. We want to make sure that everyone has the time of their lives when Sauce the Band hits the stage.

We are ready to make 2013 our best year yet, and we look forward to rockin’ the stage all year long for any and all occasions. Texas Wedding Music

However, sometimes we begin to miss our loyal Sauce fans who can’t make it to these weddings. (Sauce discourages wedding crashers – even if they have the dance skills of Vince Vaughn) In response to missing our dear friends Sauce The Band is playing two different clubs on 1/20 and 1/21. Everyone is invited!  If you haven’t seen is since that last wedding you attended or maybe you missed our last club gig many weeks ago, get your dancing shoes on and come see us.

Cool River Cafe

Come out on Friday 1/20/12 and have a cocktail or steak dinner at the fabulous Cool River Cafe.  These people know how to get down and their staff is lovely.  Every time we play here, the band feeds off the positive audience energy. Small fact – they LOVE Al Green.

Speakeasy Austin

Don’t forget Saturday 2/21/12 when we play the Speakeasy located in downtown Austin. By far the best location with great drink specials and constant fun.  This club gets packed and sweaty when we play, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

The love and music emitting from Sauce shows can be difficult to describe in words when you haven’t actually experienced a gig.  But if our “Soon-to-be Sauce The Band Fans” haven’t come out to one of our shows yet, the next best thing is a photograph.

Last Month Sauce The Band was lucky enough to play a beautiful wedding at the Bayou Club in Houston, Texas.  We had such a great time partying we even played some throwback Sauce classics like ‘Sledgehammer’.  Our lovely couple danced the night away and then followed up with the sweetest note.  We had to share with all of our Sauce The Band friends.

I just wanted to take a minute to write you about how THRILLED we were with Sauce at our wedding last month.

The bottom line is we had high expectations for the band, and you FAR AND AWAY exceeded our expectations. You have an incredibly talented group of musicians and they completely break the mold of a “wedding band.” I cannot tell you how many people asked about the band and where we found you. Beyond the musicianship, the ENERGY that you brought to the party was unmistakable and the fact that people did not leave the dance floor once the band started, ALL NIGHT, tells you everything you need to know.

Thank you again for all your help. I’m sure you will be hearing from us again soon for the next big occasion.

We want to let you know that you need to book yourself out this Saturday, 1/22.  The whole gang is heading down to Speakeasy to get the grooves goin’ and make sure that you are gettin’ down with Sauce!  Speakeasy is located at 412 D Congress Avenue.

Treating your employees well will help increase productivity and employer loyalty, and, throwing appreciation parties are a great way to build on employee relations. The holidays are a popular time to throw office parties.

Here are some pointers to help you start planning.

• While it may be cost-effective to have the party at the office, consider a change of atmosphere and look for a restaurant, bar or even a bowling alley to host your event.
• Add more fun to your party by making it themed. For example, ask everyone to wear his/her tackiest holiday sweater. Don’t forget to have a prize for the best dressed!
• For food, find a great caterer, work with the venue’s caterer list or make the event a potluck so everyone can show off his/her cooking skills.
