Our Saturdays and Fridays are filled with wedding cake, champagne, bouquets and of course, music! We absolutely love playing at our events and have zero complaints.

However, sometimes we begin to miss our loyal Sauce fans who can’t make it to these weddings. (Sauce discourages wedding crashers – even if they have the dance skills of Vince Vaughn) In response to missing our dear friends Sauce The Band is playing two different clubs on 1/20 and 1/21. Everyone is invited!  If you haven’t seen is since that last wedding you attended or maybe you missed our last club gig many weeks ago, get your dancing shoes on and come see us.

Come out on Friday 1/20/12 and have a cocktail or steak dinner at the fabulous Cool River Cafe.  These people know how to get down and their staff is lovely.  Every time we play here, the band feeds off the positive audience energy. Small fact – they LOVE Al Green.

Don’t forget Saturday 2/21/12 when we play the Speakeasy located in downtown Austin. By far the best location with great drink specials and constant fun.  This club gets packed and sweaty when we play, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

There really isn’t a better way to spend our Saturday…

The love and music emitting from Sauce shows can be difficult to describe in words when you haven’t actually experienced a gig.  But if our “Soon-to-be Sauce The Band Fans” haven’t come out to one of our shows yet, the next best thing is a photograph.

Last Month Sauce The Band was lucky enough to play a beautiful wedding at the Bayou Club in Houston, Texas.  We had such a great time partying we even played some throwback Sauce classics like ‘Sledgehammer’.  Our lovely couple danced the night away and then followed up with the sweetest note.  We had to share with all of our Sauce The Band friends.

I just wanted to take a minute to write you about how THRILLED we were with Sauce at our wedding last month.

The bottom line is we had high expectations for the band, and you FAR AND AWAY exceeded our expectations. You have an incredibly talented group of musicians and they completely break the mold of a “wedding band.” I cannot tell you how many people asked about the band and where we found you. Beyond the musicianship, the ENERGY that you brought to the party was unmistakable and the fact that people did not leave the dance floor once the band started, ALL NIGHT, tells you everything you need to know.

Thank you again for all your help. I’m sure you will be hearing from us again soon for the next big occasion.

This note made our week! We can’t wait to have this couple out on our dance floor again!

Treating your employees well will help increase productivity and employer loyalty, and, throwing appreciation parties are a great way to build on employee relations. The holidays are a popular time to throw office parties.

Here are some pointers to help you start planning.

  • While it may be cost-effective to have the party at the office, consider a change of atmosphere and look for a restaurant, bar or even a bowling alley to host your event.

But did you know a few of our talented Sauce band members are a part of Jason Mraz’s band? Our band members Carlos Sosa (saxophone), Fernando Castillo (trumpet), Reggie Watkins (trombone), Stefano Intelisano (keyboard), and Jai Dillon (bass) toured with him recently and/or in the past. Some have also recorded with him, including the album he’s currently finishing.

Jason Mraz released an EP called Life Is Good earlier this month, and you can hear our Sauce-y band members on it. The EP includes 5 live songs from his tour this past summer. Want a taste of the EP? Listen to the songs on www.jasonmraz.com.

But what’s better than seeing the musicians play live? Sauce is playing tomorrow night (Friday, Oct. 29) at Crossroads in Fredericksburg, Texas. We hope to see you there!
