The expenses and logistics of a destination wedding outside of the country may not be in your budget and schedule but don’t let that stop you from having a destination wedding. Come get married in Texas!

Couples decide on a destination wedding for a variety of reasons. Wanderlust couples like the opportunities to add a mini-vacation to their wedding for their traveling relatives, to re-visit a beautiful location and/or to explore a new city. The Southern-inspired (think rustic, cowboy boots and red bandanas) wedding décor isn’t your only option if you want to have your wedding in the Lone Star State. Texas has cities of different personalities, different landscapes, and of course, a plethora of beautiful venues to choose from. Already live in Texas? Why not have a “destination wedding” in another Texas city? While Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are popular cities, don’t forget about Fort Worth, Fredericksburg, Marfa, Galveston, or South Padre Island. You could even get married in Paris. Paris, Texas that is!
